Sadhana Pancakam
These five compact verses offer guidance on every aspect of the life of a seeker in terms of conduct, attitudes, and understanding- what is to be done, how, and for what. Beginning with “The Veda is to be studied daily, it provides teachings on everything from how to deal with hunger to how to contemplate oneself as Brahman.
Forty points of interest tell us all the necessary sadhanas (means) that prepare us to know the reality of the self, the world, and the cause of the world. The verses address both external sadhanas (conduct and situations to be sought or abandoned) and internal sadhanas (values, attitudes, objectivity, and disposition).
