Shatarudriyam
Of all the hymns recited daily by a vaidika, Shata Rudriya, or Sri Rudram, occupies the prime place. This hymn of praise to Lord Rudra, or Shiva, is part of the Krishna Yajur Veda. The famous five-syllable mantra Namah Shivaya is from this great hymm. Sri Rudram aids in the discovery of oneself as nonseparate from the Lord.
