Sravanam Mananam Nididhyasanam

Sravanam Mananam Nididhyasanam Audio Course by Swami Dayananda Saraswati

Sravanam Mananam Nididhyasanam

In these  talks Swamiji explains  “tat tvam asi” (you are that)-is by sravanam (to listen to the teacher’s unfoldment of this fact from the Vedic scripture). If one is prepared, this is adequate for moksha (liberation). But all the three are discussed because they are separate faculties: mananam (reflection) and nididhyasanam (contemplation) can and do take place during sravana itself, but can be deliberatly conducted outside of class. In this twenty-five class course (2003), Swamiji thoroughly covers these three celebrated means to know the self, which are given in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, and clarifies the role of each.
